Position : Process Engineer
Location : Jakarta
Education and Experience Required
A University degree in Chemical or Process Engineering with min 8 years
experience in design and or operation of Oil and Gas Plant including offshore
experience is a prerequisite. interfacing with authorities representatives and
partners is desirable.
Experience supervising specialist and engineering contractors with strong
understanding of the principles of process safety is a plus.
You are required to be skillful in standard software such as office suite & have
practical experience using engineering software packages
(I.e. Hysys dynamic and static process modeling. Pipeline flow assurance
software. Flare net and other modeling packages).
General Qualification
must good communicator with highly effective multi disciplinary team working
skills. A self stater able to identify, shape and progress complex projects as well
as good technical & analytical skills is plus. Strong team work spirit and cultural
awareness are needed. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia an English is must.
Basic understanding of budget and cost estimates preparation is a plus with
strong influential and presentation skills.
Job Description
Your role will involve contributing to the selection of the optimum development
option, managing conceptual design into feasibility studies, functional
specifications and basis of design, actively participating and leading the
development of hazard identification, risk assessment and process hazard
analyses, supervising direct contractors in the design and selection of new
facilities processes, actively interface with partners and authorities technical
representative. Identification and adoption of recognized standard & ensuring
compliance with all aspects to the internal value assurance process (OPDS).
To perform a variety of project related tasks, coordinate peer reviews and in
general all assurance process implementation, assessing the application of
new technologies and practices to enhance the design and operability of the
new facilities and contributing to the preparation of project cost estimates.
